September 20th, 2007 : Mystery turns 5!

It's hard to believe, but today Mystery Studio is 5 years old! It's been a fantastic experience so far, including highlights such as creating the time/customer management genre with the launch of Betty's Beer Bar in late 2003. We continue to work on interesting internal projects and exploring new areas such as multiplayer online games. Personally, I believe working with family and friends is priceless. And we have you, our players, to thank for all of this. So cheers! Here's to many more years of Mystery Studio!

June 5th, 2007 : Wild Harmony

Esteban, one of Mystery Studio's founding members, who made the music for Cathy's Caribbean Club, Betty's Beer Bar and most of our other games, and the art for Pirate Poppers, has left Mystery Studio to start his own company, Wild Harmony Studio. We wish him the very best. Good luck!

May 29th, 2007 : New game soon... what is it?

We'll be announcing our newest game very soon. We released Cathy's Caribbean Club very recently so if you guess it isn't a new time management game, you're right... so what is it? All we can say right now is that we haven't released a game of this genre before, and that it has a very unique twist for its genre. Oh, and that our newsletter subscribers are playing right now :)

March 19th, 2007 : Come visit the Caribbean!

Our new game Cathy's Caribbean Club is done! Play the new customer management game from the creators of the genre. April 5th, 2006 : Betty's Beer Bar 1.4 released

The new and improved version of Betty's Beer Bar is now available! If you own an older version of Betty's Beer Bar, contact us with your order number and you'll get a download link for the new version.

March 28th, 2006 : Get ready for Betty's Beer Bar 1.4

Betty's Beer Bar, the game you know and love, is almost two years and a half old, so we felt it was time for an overhaul! The next version, 1.4.0, will feature a simplified scoring system, user profiles, automatic savegames, a more intuitive user interface, and many other changes. Of course, the 1.4 upgrade will be completely free for owners of any previous version of the game. Join our newsletter to be notified as soon as the game is out!

February 27th, 2006 : Arr matey, new game ahoy!

We are very happy to announce the release of our new game, Pirate Poppers. A match-3 chain popper game set in the 17th century caribbean, Pirate Poppers puts you in the boots of a fearless pirate captain searching for long-lost treasures, while facing the dangers of the sea, the ire of a ghost pirate ship and even other menacing pirates!

September 20th, 2005 : New games coming soon

The Mystery Team is working obsessively on not one but two new games! I can't reveal many details now (our name is Mystery, after all), but in a few weeks we'll start the beta test process. If you want to try the games before they're released and make your opinions count, now it's a good time to join our newsletter.

August 8th, 2005 : Maintenance releases of everything!

There are new releases of Wild West Wendy and Betty's Beer Bar. In the last few months, Betty's Beer Bar got quite an overhaul - completely new music, an easier control mechanism, some bug fixes, and some new options to make sure it runs in all computers. Being newer, there's less to update in Wild West Wendy, but it does have bug fixes and new compatibility options.

As usual, upgrades are completely free for owners of the games. Just write to us with your order number to get a link to the latest version.

Of course, this isn't the only thing we've been doing lately :) New games are on their way. Stay tuned!

April 21st, 2005 : Wild West Wendy for Mac and Windows released!

We're very proud to announce the release of our new game, Wild West Wendy! A bartending game set in the Wild West, where you get to extend your saloon franchise, capture criminals, avoid thieves, return cows, stop bar fights, fight an evil ranch owner and a lot more! All of this with the beautifully detailed, hand-drawn characters and scenarios we're known for and huge doses of humor appropriate for all ages.

April 11th, 2005 : Our new game will be ready really soon now!

It's been a long time since we released our last game, but we have no doubts - the wait will be worth the result! In the next few weeks we'll announce our new game. As always, people in our free newsletter will be the first to know and maybe even get a discount, so now it's a good time to sign up!

March 17th, 2004 : FaceIt for Mac released!

Mac users rejoice - we have just released FaceIt for Mac OS X! You can download the demo version here.

This is just a first step - Betty's Beer Bar for Mac and PegSweeper for Mac will follow soon. And from now on, all our games will be released simultaneously for Windows and Mac.

December 8th, 2003 : Betty's Beer Bar 1.2 is out!

We have just released a new build of Betty's Beer Bar. We added level codes to the Story Mode, so you don't have to start from the beginning every time. We also added the Photo Album, which allows you to see all the cutscenes that you already unlocked. And last, we lowered the Sales Goals in some levels to make the Story Mode a bit easier.

We have just uploaded a new version of PegSweeper. To make the game even more enjoyable for non-hardcore puzzle players, we've added Undo/Redo functionality as well as showing all the valid positions whenever you take a piece. We hope you like it!
